ALGIERS – Monday, 24 April 2023 (APS) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad announced that as part of the implementation of the instructions of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, an evacuation operation of members of the national community in Sudan, wishing to leave this country, and the staff of the Algerian embassy in Khartoum, was launched on Monday.
“As part of the implementation of the instructions of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and the measures taken to address the situation of members of the national community in Sudan, following the deplorable crisis in this brotherly country, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad announced the launch today, April 24, 2023, of an evacuation operation of members of the national community established in Sudan, wishing to leave this country, and the staff of the Algerian embassy in Khartoum,” said the statement.
According to the Ministry, “all means have been mobilized to ensure the success of the operation.”
