ALGIERS – Tuesday, 07 November 2023 (APS) – The minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, who is on a working visit to Romania, was received Tuesday in Bucharest by the speaker of the Romanian Senate, Nicolae Ciuca, the ministry said in a statement.
The meeting was “an occasion to stress the strong political will of both countries to revive the common historical heritage and seize the available opportunities to strengthen cooperation and partnership” between Algeria and Romania.
The two sides welcomed the role of parliamentary diplomacy in support of the new dynamics in Algerian-Romanian relations, in terms of training for the parliamentary friendship groups of both countries.
