JIJEL – Thursday, 09 November 202 (APS) – Algerian Qatari Steel company (AQS), in Bellara (Jijel), obtained the GlobeCert AB certification, allowing it to export its products to the Scandinavian market, AQS’s information department said Thursday.
In a statement to APS, the same source said that AQS company obtained certification from “Global certification in the steel market of the Nordic region” (GlobeCert AB), paving the way for new export prospects for the different types of rebar it manufactures to the Scandinavian countries, including Sweden, Norway, and Denmark.
This accreditation is added to the ones already obtained by AQS, namely ISO certification, those granted by the British organization Cares, the Polish organization Zetom (for Eastern European markets), and most recently, by the international organization Kiwa for the Baltic countries. According to AQS’s information department, this achievement is the “outcome of excellence and the result of efforts, seriousness, professionalism, and the company’s total commitment to meeting the highest quality standards.”
With the GlobeCert AB certification for Scandinavia, the Algerian Qatari Steel’s products are now certified for all markets in the European continent, which is one of the most important global markets in the steel industry, the same source said.
AQS Company makes sure to “be present in all international markets by exporting excess rebar and other steel products produced in the Bellara Complex to external markets,” thus contributing to “implementing the government’s strategy to increase the value of non-oil exports,” the same source wrapped up.
